Thanks Larry, it's new, goes over the zoo and the Cuyahoga River which flows through the zoo.

Lookin' good but one question - why don't you paint the framing pieces before installing on the prints? Much less work and no chance of damaging those lovely prints.

...I'm a woodworker before a photographer, I just think that way, so I can't really *join* those miters really good without boogering the finish. I've done a few of these now and got the masking thing down pretty good. As a carpenter I'm really good at covering my mistakes, lol...

...here's my "free" Sunday. Between two ball-sport games, processing some pix from yesterday, and odds and ends; these are the projects of the day. They are printed canvas applied to 1/4" ply/hardboard and placed in a grooved-mitered frame. I will tape 'em off and finish with blackish paint...please forgive the phone pic!

Very nice project chasgroh..pg.10

That's cool - BTW my husband and I both do quite a bit of woodworking so I know what you're talking about. In any case, those prints are really nice.

Cool and thanks for the comment, Sue. They aren't traditional frames where I'd get it done and put the print/piece in from the backside, they are slotted so when I finally get one "done" there are little glue blocks on the back making it super sturdy and it ain't going anywhere...here's the last assembly and backside:

When Smoke gets in your Eyes..

They asked me how I knew
My true love was true
I of course replied
Something here inside
Can not be denied
They, said some day you'll find
All who love are blind
When you heart's on fire
You must realize
Smoke gets in your eyes

poetry (UHH) pure
