wonderfully choreographed...
3 and 7 look for the world to be a modern dance recital...
epic dynamic motion...

sorry I shoot massive amounts of ballet...
they don't keep score in dance...
just beauty in epic motion...

thanks for sharing SENSORLOUPE
good stuff!

Thomas---Thanks so much for such an encouraging comment!! Have you posted any Ballet? I bet that is one exciting event to photograph. I would love to see that! Sometimes I just luck out. I shoot for expressions and motion and get what I want sometimes. I am waiting for that perfect shot!! Ha!!

Thank you david. That's that #2, our grand daughter!! She did come barreling down the court and I was there with the Canon and I just held down the shutter. BB focus

A good sports action image needs a face and a ball, perhaps multiple faces. Shoot for that. Best of luck.

"... I shoot for expressions and motion..." totally get that... sadly some here believe unless there is a ball etc. in the image it's a throwaway... sometimes nothing could be further from the truth especially for those sports where elegant grace trumps brute strength... Tennis comes to mind here where the rhythm and flow of kinetic motion is on par with modern dance and even ballet...

I fully realized you would take flack for not having the requisite "ball" in the shot so I felt a compelling need to honor your beautiful shots sans ball... Image number nine has an ethereal look all of it's own...

As per your request below is ballet on location.... I don't shoot indoor sports, only work in the beauty of a natural environment... perhaps that is why I'm drawn to girls league soccer...

Sadly I have to work in a studio way too much... have to generate a revenue stream... enough said.

All the best on your journey SENSORLOUPE...

Thank you Thomas. Shooting for action and expression------ That's the best Part! Your photo is BEAUTIFUL! Thank you for sharing that. I don't always get the ball, but on these I thought I did get ball and Faces too!! Thank you again for all your kind comments on my work. I love shooting in a natural environment also---Maybe they could move BB outside!! Ha! I hope you post more Ballet as you take them Photographically, SENSORLOUPE
