My two favorite things to shoot are flowers and birds. My wife is a gardener and I can afford some feeders. I have been using Godox AD 360's. A friend brought up speed lights. I took that as a challenge. Kind of a camera club challenge. As in can you do that with speed lights.
Used 2 Godox 685's and took a couple of wire coat hangers bent them some and put white kitchen trash bags over them as a makeshift soft box.
The purpose was to show anybody with even a basic off camera flash system and no funds for modifiers can get the picture.
Oh, used a piece of cellophane orange plastic from a discard food thingy on one of them.
Thanks. I had used speed lights before but have been getting into trying new things with lighting. Been showing them at club competitions because some are a bit different. Hence the challenge.
Thanks all. Just playing around looking to see what different lighting set ups do. That and buddies who like to push a bit.
