Thank You!! There are 4, one on each corner. The birds perch on them as they wait to get to an open feeder. The feeder is made of 4 aluminum poles each shaped like an inverted j and tack welded together. The s hooks which hold each of the 4 individual feeders are secured in the highest part of the loop. My son in law, a welder made it from some scraps of metal he had. It’s not uncommon for there to be a dozen birds in and around the feeder at the busiest times. My son in law initially thought the 4 metal poles would be too much for the squirrels to climb, we quickly found out it didn’t stop them . Now there’s a metal ring around the poles that the squirrels can’t get up and around !!
