Using new Canon M50

Took the GAS just before Christmas and purchased the Canon M50 kit with two zoom lenses. For several recent days have been photographing cut flowers at home. Below are six photos: the first three taken with a Tamron 28-75 f2.8 macro with adapter, the second three taken with the Canon EF-M 55-200 macro. All were taken using the Godox TT350 flash with a reflecting sock. The shots were handheld and shot raw/jpeg. The raws were adjusted using the Canon raw program. Only cropping and and very minor saturation was done. Would certainly welcome any comments. Thanks for looking.

number 2 and 3 are fine , the others a little dark . hard to get 100% correct exposure , most of time need some fixing . thanks to digital this is easy fixing .in the old days with slides , could not be done .

The last three shots in particular are pretty dark. Since you have RAW files available, you should be able to bring the brightness up and add more impact to the colors. You don't need any fancy software for that, most every program will allow you to fiddle with the brightness and contrast until you get what you want.
If you want to do even more fine-tuning, there are a lot of inexpensive programs that let you dig into the color curve (and etc.)

I've been fighting GAS too, do I need a 77d? M50? or just want? Hate having GAS, VBG.

I went with the M50 to go mirrorless "relatively" cheaply. So far, I really like the camera and its lighter lenses. Photos have been taken with the EF-M lenses and EF lenses using the adapter. Only time will really tell but pleased so far.

i love mine. Carry it on my belt with the kit 15-45 lens. i always have my 5DMkIII with 100-400 lens. Lethal combination since my focus is wildlife. Covers all ranges without the need to change lenses. Also...if anything happens to my 5D, i can put the 100-400 on the M50 with use of the adapter. Love the camera. Have had it 1.5 yrs now. Reasonable battery life (unlike my wife's Sony 6500). Happy customer.
