This really pisses me off - I don't know what else to say, people can be so trashy. Haulover Canal area of MINWR, North of Kennedy Space Center, SR3. The area in question is the canal bridge area, and associated area, Manatee feeding aresa, fishing spots, hiking and photo areas, etc.

Parts of the park will be closed whenever littering exceeds daily/weekly cleanup efforts. What is wrong with people? This area is frequented by many for fishing, canoe/kayak, photography, hiking, etc., it is northeast of the Blackpoint Drive area

To the guilty - Take your damn trash home and throw it in your own pristine yard!!!!!!!!!!!!

Arrrrrrrrghhhhhh!!!!

How sad this is, it is a great place to go for photography. When we went we left only footprints and tire tracks, I wish others would do the same!

Way too sad. Back in 2003 my son graduated from Marine boot camp in San Diego. He and I were walking behind a family and the husband threw a cigarette butt on the parade deck. Big mistake. I had to restrain my son. The guy picked the butt up. There was a trash less than 3 feet away.

It's like people who leave their shopping carts strewed around the parking lot instead of putting it in the cart drop off. They figure someone will take care of it for them.

A few surveillance cameras that could capture the license plates of the offenders would help.

It's just a reflection of American culture and society. Why so upset? (Tounge in cheek).

Very sad, and maybe some of us who love the refuge will need to carry a small trash bag along with us and try to help out just a little.

That is awful ...it seem that some people just don't appreciate the beauty of our nature areas...same problem here...
