I tried my Crock-Pot cooking this fine boneless pork roast. I placed and browned the pork on all sides in a nonstick pan with dribbles of olive-oil in the pan. Heat med high and turned after 8 minutes. Seasoned with Italion Season, and Crushed Black Pepper and Sweet Basil on all sides of pork.
While browning, I chopped 4 small potatoes skin on, four LG carrots peeled and chopped coarsly, 3 Celery Stocks chopped diagonally, 1 med Onion chopped roughly, and 5 cloves garlic smashed. All veggies placed in crocked-pot with 1 can Chicken Stock poured over all veggies.
Slow Cooker turned down to low 10 hours cooking time. Started cooking 10:30pm on low 10 hours. When cooking time ends at 8:30am, the switch changes to warm automatically!
Plated with veggies and pork roast with gravy and a bit of Kalamata Olives & Feta Cheese. A different taste! AP
Awesome! I'm always looking for real success meals Thank you very much

Pork is just glorious when done low and slow. I do Pork Shoulders in a wood fired smoker, with 6 hour cook time @ 250 deg.
Best paired with a not to heavy red wine, like a GSM from Central Coast California.
Bon Appetit.

Looks real good.
Welcome, Richard Taylor! I have to say, I do not my slow-cooker enough because of the lengthly time it takes to finish. But, you will believe the mouth watering taste that the toughest meats cook PERFECT!!! It seems that you cannot over cook thought meats.
Next time, I'll only slow-cook the meat. You will not believe how perfectly tender and tasty it comes out. And on your first try! CIAO, AP
My favorite meal, looks good.

Looks DEE_LISH. Maybe it's just me, but I would not leave any pot on over night -unwatched.. I have an oven that I can control by cell phone. I don't use that feature either, for the same reason.
Looks wonderful and it is inspirational for me to use the slow cooker more often!
Your house must have smelled so good in the morning, AP! I love my slow-cooker. Whoever came up with that idea was a genius! Your pork roast looks absolutely delicious!

I'll be right over!!!! Looks fabulous!!
My smoker is my favorite for pork (well, just about everything actually), and slow cooker/crock pot is my number two favorite! Have also used the smoker as a slow cooker, for my friends/relatives who don't care for smoked foods, it just gives a hint of smoked flavor that way, so I'm still happy. Good Job!!!!

Hello, Sam, and Welcome! This pork roast was outstanding. So tasty and tender it's worth the length of time cooking! Buying a slow-cooker is most affordable. Your favorite Wallmart has them! All different sizes . . . AP
