After taking the photo (half the fun) is the other half of fun by altering them in post production.
These all look best in download mode!

Hey Brent, I know your having a ball, but I love the purity of your simply enhanced original photos. Please don’t stop posting those.
Sincerely

I think that it all went wild when he took those painting classes (LOL).

Brent, these are quite striking. You might approach the people running surf competitions and see if they like to purchase any of these for posters.

Uh, the guy with the large bird just looks a bit awkward, if you know what I mean.

Fun stuff, Brent, but I've gotta ask: Is #1 = The Surfer From Hell? And #6? (Dare I say anything???) I do NOT want to know what sort of perversion is being perpetrated upon that bird.

Don't worry Bluefish, I will keep posting the simply enhanced originals. Right now I'm enjoying the fun of exploring new directions and artistic concepts. Thanks for your support!

l-fox, I figure that the post production time for each image was about 10 minutes. There are 8 images so about 80 minutes total for the entire batch.

Hey Mike..........it's a good thing to step out of your comfort zone and experiment! I realize it's not going to please everyone but it's a phase that I'm enjoying for the moment! The painting classes do help keep the images a bit wild! lol

Bob, I'm not really interested in selling my work, that is the "not so fun" part of any creative process.
The woman with the large bird (Pelican) is about 15 feet back behind the bird but I know what you mean because it does look like they are together. When I showed it to my wife she had the same comment.
Thanks for the "quite striking" comment Bob!

Thanks Cany143 for the "fun stuff" comment.
#1 has a title of "fire and water" but if you wish it to be called "The Surfer From Hell", I'm ok with it!
#6 is very deceiving.........from the angle I shot this image on the pier hand rail there is actually about 15' of distance between the Pelican and the woman. With my telephoto lens, it compressed the distance to appear as if the Pelican and person are together............not so! No perversion is going on!

Your processing adds even more drama Brent. I see what Bob means, you need to ask the pelican to hop towards you bit to get just a little separation from the fella!
