Simply amazing! GAS!!!
Thanks and yes, GAS is a very serious problem!

I recently purchased the Sony 600mm f4 lens and quickly fell in love with it. The detail this lens is capable of rendering is simply astounding. I made a video highlighting some of my first captures with the lens. Enjoy!

Haven't watched the vid but, noticed you had another vid with the Nikon D850 & 500 f4. Wondering on your comparison thoughts for overall wildlife photography quality/performance with these 2 set ups. Thanks in advance if you give any replies.
The Sony rig is on an entire different level of detail. I didn't think it would be possible but it is very apparent. The Sony rig also excels in every instance where the Nikon did not. Vertical panning from sky to water and shooting through varying temps. Nikon struggles with those and the Sony rig isn't phased in the least.

Great video, it goes to prove that it isn't only a great photographer, but the great equipment that he uses that gives you these great results.
Yes and understanding how to get the most from said equipment.

Great demonstration of the capabilities of this lens, and the a7RIV. Impressed that you were able to hand hold and get the results with this high megapixel camera. I have heard you really need be careful. Yes, the lens is exceptionally sharp, but the boque is absolutely amazing as well. Here is a boque example with the A7RIII. Enjoyed your video and thanks for sharing on this blog.
Yeah, handholding for me isn't a problem at all unless there is a really strong wind then it can become a little unruly. Truly an amazing piece of glass they have managed to create.

Simply amazing! Wish I had the 15 grand for that rig!
Wow. That video was amazingly sharp. Both stills and video. I was surprised how light the lens is. Even for a F4 lens. I'm sure a F2.8 lens would be much heavier. What I believe enhanced the quality of the images, is that the Sony a7r4, has a 61 megapixels sensor. And, that's a formula for great video, on a great lens.
