Big Bend National Park
Terlingua Mine manager House
Santa Elena canyon
Canyon from Castalon
Strange rock formation
Abandoned car Maraschal mine
Brought back a lot of memories. Rode & camped with our horses in Big Bend NP for 10 years when we were younger. Harsh, but beautiful country. My wife & I went there for our 50th anniversary. Plan to go again.
Great if you have a 4 wheel drive truck too. Lots of unimproved roads.
That old car just needs new tires and its windshield washed.
Lots of open space. I guess someone needed car parts and was surprised to find that sitting there.
Great set of pictures and nice memories. I came around a bend on my motorcycle and wound up in a heard of wild horses. I road with them for about a quarter of a mile. I really enjoyed the park even though it was raining most of the time. Even found the most amazing Hotel/Cantina right at the edge of the park just where I needed it. Two women ran it and they had chicken wire over the state and a real cigarette machine. That's atmosphere.

Can’t wait to go. Will be there the last week of February. Have been reading about the Big Bend area these past few weeks. Looking to spend as much time as possible off the beaten path trying to immerse ourselves in the vastness of the region. Your pictures capture the feeling for the uniqueness of the beauty that I hope to experience while in the Big Bend region. Thank you for sharing.

Very nice collection! I really like your photo of the manager's house. It's been over four years since I visited the park, so your images brought back fond memories.
