I am anxious to see how the D780 tests out when put to actual tests. I think it looks great based on the report provided.
Sure doesn't sound like a Company on the verge of going out of business !!
I wonder how many people are going to think that that camera is going to make them a better photographer.

It might. If psychology you think it will make you better, you will work harder to make it so. I'm thinking of getting 2 so my photography will be twice as good. Some of us need all the help we can get.

What new full-frame was announced? I didn't see anything. I know the D6 is rumored.
You are so right. I was thinking the D780 was DX. Duh!!
Interesting that Nikon has reverted to putting SD slots in this camera (though it is UHS-II).
And how about that $9500 zoom??? Nikon will be back in the green if they sell a ship container full of those.
Ok, I’ll be the dumb one - explain hybrid DSLR/mirrorless, please. A quick google showed me nothing to clarify that term.

The D750 had dual SD card slots.

Very true. Guess what I was thinking is that since the D750 was introduced in 2014, that the D780 would, like the D850 and D500, have updated card slots.

Not a better photographer but taking better pictures. People don't give credits to their cameras but they keep buying newer ones.
