When we pulled up on the auto-tour, we just saw the Red-tailed Hawk enjoying it's lunch. Then, we continued to watch as the drama played out. I am becoming fascinated by bird behavior.

Yes, you have been very patient and polite. (Vulture only had to be slapped back once.)

Absolutely delightful storytelling, Katy! Loved this series.
Very nice set. I'm also fascinated by bird behavior. I put a bird feeder last week but, they haven't found it yet.

Nice set- great story.
This guy is telling us what he thinks about the duck he recently consumed.
Nikon D500- Nikkor 200-500 f5.6- my trusty combo.
A very nice action set, Katy.

Thanks, Bob. They are very cautious when a new feeder goes up. It is frustrating waiting for them to feel safe with it. A few brave ones are needed.

Thanks, Sinewsworn. Ooh, I've seen that a few times. Good catch or maybe not!
I use the same combo.

Enjoyed the set and the captions Katy
The interplay between raptors usually shares more than one storyline. Three species, three stories. Congrats for having the patience, but then, that is nothing new for your eyes to see through the lens.
