I use the Sensor Cleaning Kit from Delkin, have for almost 10 years now on dozens of different camera models, D750 included.

www.cleaningdigitalcameras.com

By far the most comprehensive and unbiased website, written and maintained by professional camera repair techs: Curt Fargo and Larry Lyells.

There is no single "best method" of cleaning. It is usually a multi-step process (download the flow chart from the above site).

Personally I use:

- Rocket blower
- Mini vacuum
- Pec Pads (make my own swabs)
- Sensor Wand tools (APS-C and full frame sizes)
- Eclipse Sensor Cleaning fluid
- Arctic Butterfly Sensor Brush
- Sensor Pen
- Dust Aid kit
- Speck Grabber
- Lighted magnifying loupe

There are many sensor cleaners available. I bought a fluid kit, with swabs, and haven't used it yet. I'll have it when I need it. When you do choose a recommended sensor kit, from uhh members. I also recommend buying a rocket blower. If you don't have one. And use it periodically. There's a gel stick sensor cleaner, that was mentioned on this forum not too long ago. Considered very effective. But, one must purchase the German manufacturer and not the Chinese manufacturer.

I Ended up needing a cleaning on rather short notice after my Rocket Blower only made things worse (I Don't know why) I got these next day from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078N8WKJ7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and they worked great !

I use the Arctic Butterfly on my Z6. It gets all but the stickiest.

Nikon is negative on using anything other than a rocket blower on the Zs because of the fragility of SENSOR.

I use wet pads on my D5600.

The end of my vacuum cleaner hose is metal. I don't want to put any metal into my camera near the sensor so I would not agree that it is "a lot safer than other methods". Not only that, but my house vacuum cleaner encounters a LOT of stuff I don't want to introduce into my camera and it all goes through that end of the hose. What kind of vacuum cleaner are you using? How do you ensure that the end of the hose is clean?

Personally, I use a 3-3 system. (1) Rocket blower, tried 3 times. (2) Arctic butterfly, tried 3 times. (3) Wet swabs, 3 times is usually enough. Of course I interrupt the process when the dust doesn't show up any more.

Using a vacuum cleaner just sounds like a bad idea to me. My vacuum cleaner has A LOT of suction and I would be hesitate putting that much suction so close to the innards of my camera. Sounds like a good way to damage an expensive camera to me.

I also have the D750 and my sensor was extremely dirty. So recently I purchased the German-made gel stick called "eyelead" . I saw an ad in dp magazine and took a chance. No regrets at all. The box says for Leica and Sony but believe me it works wonders on Nikon and Fujifilm as I own both. If you get one, get the one made in Germany and not the look-alike made in china.

I go directly to Nikon, I do not pass go, do not collect $200.00. I either go to Nikon or my Local Nikon Authorized Dealer.

I do it myself. Takes maybe 20 minutes. No shipping, no fees, no days without the camera. Costs around $5-10 worth of cleaning materials.

As a member on Nikon Professional Services it costs me nothing, no fees, no days without my camera, and, at a 0 cost.
