I have Canon zoom lens that has developed lens creep. Any suggestions would be helpful. Has anyone used the product Lens Band? Thanks

You don't state under what conditions it creeps.....
Around neck while carrying?
On a tripod angled down?

I have a Sigma that creeps, I just lock it if it is around my neck for normal carrying.
I've not used a lens band. Not sure how I would like it.
BUT the lens band seems like it would work well if the lens was angles down like for shooting on a tripod.

My Canon 18-200 is kept from creeping by a lens band. Get one-they work.

My Fuji 55-200 creeps. I put a wide rubber band on it. It works.

When carrying on a Peak strap with the camera pointed down.

I've used LensBand. It solves the creep problem.

My Canon 24-105 is notorious for creep. I found one of those wristbands folks wear to support a cause. I fits well, stops creep and happens to be red, matching the style of the lens.

As it is on my 40+year old denim strap, but I lock the lens.

Search Amazon.com for "rubber wristbands". You can get several for way less than a Lens Band will cost.

Exactly! I started using a rubber wrist band that was handed to me in the street one day. Then I was in B&H on Ninth Ave and noticed they were selling Lens Bands which were precisely the same thing as the wrist band I was already using!

I use Lens Band on my Nikkor 18-22. It solved the problem with the original version of the lens.
It was cheap enough that I didn't look for less expensive alternatives.

Get real. A Lens Band sells for about 5 bucks. How much is way less? BTW any one who is concerned with spending $5, should get another thing to do, other than photography.
