No insult intended. I would offer you $800 via paypal. I recently purchased the current C version with the usb dock, of this lens from Adorama, have return authorization since haven't gotten good focus on water birds compared to my old old, awesome, canon 100-400, but need more reach. Not sure the heavy S will be better, and the weight means mono or tri pod, which I use anyway. So, let me know!
