I viewed the video. To further clarify why these actions were taken, I'll submit the following:
Here is a statement made by Jane Fonda on Jan. 4, 2020 on National TV:
“Young people should know that all of the wars fought since you were born have been about oil.”
Regardless of anyone's opinion of her, if you review the events in question, she makes a valid point.
At least as far back as "Desert Storm." Bush Sr. & Jr. = OIL, Cheney = Haliburton & OIL, the list goes on.
And now Trump sends Troops to protect OIL in Syria.
I wish I knew a way to force our "Leaders" to 'Take their foot OFF the GAS'.

I agree. That is why on a different thread I commented that the recent software tweak that allows him to occasionally generate longer responses needs an improved grammar checker. Or the "guys" need English lessons.

That's completely wrong! A good educator would not tell them the answer, they would show them how to find the correct answer.

So what about my comment that the U.S. never took a drop of oil from Iraq in the 29 years since the first Gulf War? How does that make the Iraqi Wars all about oil??

Read the history of US intervention abroad - especially in this hemisphere. It has always been to protect aluminum and copper interests, United Fruit Company, and other US multinational-run industries against any efforts by nations to try to retain more of their own resources. Any tin-pot dictator in Latin America or the Caribbean could simply claim that their opponent was "a c*******t" and the CIA or even our military would jump right in. Jamaica, Guatemala, Chile, the list goes on. Why oh why aren't we loved around the world?
