Well I need to do some networking and have my work reviewed, is anyone familiar with any appropriate clubs or contests I should be entering?

I've heard of the Cleveland Photographic Society, in Broadview Heights, but I'm not a member.

When I lived in the region I was a member of the Western Reserve Photo Society (PSE). They are the best club I’ve ever found. Beginner or pro find much value in their meetings and outings. https://www.wrpsphoto.org/

Thanks for posting these two sources. I grew up in Cleveland and part of my heart is still there. (You can take the boy out of Cleveland but you can't take Cleveland out of the boy.) I'm always trying to improve my skills and these two sources will help. Thanks again, JackH341

Look at this link to see if there is a PSA club near where you live or work. Join one or more camera clubs.

there is a new club that meets at the Strongsville library.Club just started a couple of months ago next meeting is Jan 15 at 6:30. There is a Avon Lake photo club that meets on wednesday but don't know much about them.I think they also meet at the Avon Lake library

The Toledo Camera Club competes against clubs in the Greater Detroit Camera Club Council in the S.E. Michigan area. I'm a member of that. Toledo has a good club.

That's a long drive from NE Ohio, could go to Cedar Point and the islands on the way though.
