Canon Store has this bundle, new, for $399.99
That's $100.00 less than the refurb bundle.

"The M100 is aimed squarely at smartphone photographers looking to get their first 'real' camera, and its polished touch-centric control scheme reflects this. It's small, it's light, and because of the large APS-C sensor, is almost always capable of better photos than any smartphone".

Your results with any camera and lens is strictly up to YOU, not the equipment.

The comment in quotes is from DPReview, hence the quotes.

I received the email at work yesterday am and since it is such a good deal and there is such a large interest in mirrorless cameras here, I decided to post it.

no viewfinder, no interest. It could be free and still not a good deal for me.

Then why comment? Move on.
Frankly it's not for me either, however there are many here that it is for.

For $480 you can get the M-50 and 15-45 lens. Better camera and it has a viewfinder. Great touchscreen. Does selfies. A big step up from a cell phone. My granddaughter loves hers!

EVF, NO THANK YOU!!!
NOT FOR ME.

Silly sounding, isn't it?
BTW, the M-50 has the same sensor and touchscreen as the M-100. The M-50 has more focus points and faster burst rate.
All attributes used in sports and action photography, however the EVF delay negates those attributes in sports and action photography.

$399.99 gets two zoom lens and a great little camera for $180.00 less.
