My first photos for 2020....

...of some posing pigeons.I set up a makeshift feeding station in the front garden of my daughters house to see if i could get some birds to feed.So far i've had Jackdaws,Blackbirds and Starlings in the gloomy weather so thank the lord for the colourful posing pigeons.I've also added a photo of the feeding station just to show you how simple it is to put together using a small foot stool some plastic grass and a couple of rocks and some artificial grass.At least i got some pics to start the year, I almost forgot to add the photos where taken through the double glazed windows it was too chilly for me and my camera out there.

Who ever said that pigeons aren’t pretty birds have obviously never seen your photos. Well done! I happen to like pigeons. They’re birds, too, after all.

Than you very much for taking the time to look in and comment Mike it's very much appreciate it.I always enjoy taking photos of the Pigeons Mike.they are great posers if you have the patience to catch them doing so.

Excellent shots of the Wood Pigeons Jim. I have six pairs that hoover up anything edible in the garden!
