Hello,
How much time could you spend taking pictures at the Indian Museum in New York City?

Depends on what things interest you and how fast you are. But max is until closing time when the guards hustle you out the door.
Seriously, it would depend on your interests and photo style (over view, details etc). You also need to ask about photography, some museums either don't want you in everyone's way photographing every thing or they request to arrange a long session and get a permit. And if they are like many museums there are no flashes, tripods, reflectors etc allowed. Hand held natural light only. And a few museums say no photography at all or some exhibits (like ones on loan) are off limits for photos. And since it is a museum of Indian Culture etc there may be exhibits of sacred objects that are off limits for pictures.

5 minutes to all day depending on my interests and if I'm allowed to take all the shots I want.
There are many Museum's in NYC that do not allow photo's, best check first.
I've taken pictures there and no one bothered me. That museum is not well attended by the public so there is plenty of room to frame your photos and just walk around.
I see the museum covers dots not feathers
