I am a member of a Facebook group named Create 52 Photography Project. There is a weekly photo theme. We take/post a new photo each week that interprets that theme. It isn’t for critique. I’ve done it for 2 years now and it gives me a little discipline when inspiration runs short. It’s open to any photographer who wants to join. I’d probably give up on a daily requirement, but the weekly schedule is manageable.

The beauty of that plan is you don't have to take a trip a day. You can stay home and just be imaginative in case weather or time becomes a complication. A small home studio can be created with very little effort.

Taking a photo a day is so easy.
Much more difficult to take a keeper a day.

My goal since I retired has been to use my camera at least once a week. It’s a good discipline and motivated me to pursue still life photography when the weather is bad.

I made it a resolution for 2020 and will inform a few family members and friends so maybe they will help keep me on track.

As an addendum, I read about the weekly project for facebllk and will probably ask to join them which would give me a little more incentive to take daily photos as it will give me more to choose from for the weekly one.

Yes I often need incentive and initiative to photograph.
