What is a resolution?
A firm decision to do or not to do something.

Will you learn to better use your current equipment?

Will you learn your processing software?

Will you organize your legacy images?

Will you organize your new images?

Will you sell your unused and outdated equipment?

Will you ask for help?

Will you answer a request for help?

Will you use selective focus with an off-center AF point placed specifically on the subject?

Will you investigate higher ISOs?

Will you use your flash?

Will you use your tripod?

Will you try Back Button Focus?

Will you create an image over the next 366 days that achieves your resolution?

Yes! Paul, I'm determined to learn how to use my flash, both on camera and off. My second resolution is to learn more about Photoshop and practice it! I'm getting my second knee replaced in literally two hours (my first one was done in October), so I figure the next couple weeks will be a good time to get started on my learning!! I should also make it a goal not to be afraid to ask more questions on this forum! lol

Patty, good luck and Happy New Year! Be sure to watch some video training along with trying the PS techniques.

All of the above. Of course some are easier than others because I already do them.

I vow to study the techniques of other photographers and incorporate a new pose, lighting technique or camera angle into my routine so I move forward an don’t remain stagnant as a photographer.

Great outline for the coming year; hope we all can achieve our goals for 2020. May we all have a prosperous and happy New Year.

My resolution is to earn the LRPS designation from the Royal Photographic Society (UK). I have had some assessments of my work and I’m getting close to meeting their exacting requirements.

I never made a resolution in my entire life, why should I start now?
