A shoulder pad for a camera, or a camera bag?

You should look into some vintage 1980's women' wear.

Here is a suggestion: Find an old shearling jacket (child size) at a thrift shop [I see them all the time for less than $5]. . .You want a "suede" outside with "fluffy inside". . .Then, take it to a shoe-maker or upholstery shop that has a machine that will stitich leather. Explain what you want; let him cut out the size that you want (Bring your camera strap with you!). . .And, Voila! You will have the EXACT pad you are looking for. . .I have done this a couple times; and, it has never cost me more than a total of $15-$25 dollars! [I have had pads made for camera straps AND binocular straps].

Try it . . .You've got nothing to lose by asking!

Thrift shops are great sources for those who can "think outside the box!"

Billingham makes the best - heavy leather, thick neoprene pad, and snap-over closures that will fit most any width strap if you buy the correct size.

Best I've ever used. They're available at B&H, Adorama, and many other retailers, as well as Amazon. They start at about $40 but they're worth it.

I use the ONA Sahel Strap an absolutely love it! Most of the strap is padded and I wear it cross-body style. It is the most comfortable strap/pad I have used. They make it in two styles. https://onabags.com/collections/camera-straps/products/the-sahel The Sahel and the Presidio. B&H carries these as well.

I have used a 'padded bike seat' on occasion - worked well for me.

https://www.sheepskin.com/product-category/sheepskin-accessories/sheepskin-car-accessories/ I use these seat belt protectors on our vehicles and they are awesome. I have a bad neck and back. Maybe they can help you with a camera strap?
