Not really a portrait person but do like to do them sometimes. This is a grandson who doesn't not like his picture taken so when he mentioned it I jumped at the opportunity. He likes the last one and wants it dark. I figure I will lighten it up and just not give him a copy. The first two are grandma pictures. The thrid was just because.

I really like the mood and tones of that last one although I'd crop out the blanket(?) hanging on the right hand pew as is distracts from the overall coloration.

I have thought about that. Think to clone it or maybe crop. The background is very much part of the story going on here. Grandma makes the blankets and the church as the location is very very big for both her and momma, and me too.
