He was a year old here, in September.
Cute kid, but the floating head concept is a bit spooky. Also the merger of his hair into the black background contributes to the spooky-ness.
I do like this one mcmama, nothing to distract from his lovely face..

Thank you. I edited another one with part of his body, similar to this one, and the parents want a large print of this.
intriguing capture of this handsome young gentleman...
That AF 50mm f/1.4D is an epic optic that yields stellar acuity at this f/6.3 aperture...
Your flash (positioned nearly the same as a "classic Beauty Dish") sculpted his facial feature providing 3D bias relief...
And such amazing facial symmetry...
Those perfectly arched brows frame huge awesome almond shaped eyes!
Truly blessed with good genes!
As for "...the parents want a large print of this..."
When you meet and/or exceed client expectations you have achieved ultimate success.
mcmama in commercial photography absolutely nothing else matters...
In the words of one of the most accomplish and insanely successful commercial shooters... Dean Collins
"Beauty is in the eyes of the checkbook holder" Hobbyist would do well to get their heads around this...
Whatever works, works!
Thank you for sharing...

If I’m still alive in 13 years, it’ll be interesting to see if they still have the print.
