Sony NEX-5R Mirrorless Camera includes the following:
Sony NEX Accessory Flash,
Commlite EF Series Lens to E-Mount Camera Adapter w/Electronic Iris and AF, and
Canon EFS 18-135mm lens (Lens captures good stills, but AF is unreliable & zoom is ragged.)
Asking PRICE is OBO. In the interest of full disclosure, this package will be posted for sale locally as well, so this might get marked sold even though no interest here has been shown.
DETAILS: This camera and flash work perfectly, the lens adapter is like new, but the Canon zoom lens is merely functional. Essentially, the zoom lens is being provided for free to give a buyer a lens to start with. As you likely know, both Sony E Mount and Sony full-frame FE Mount lenses fit NEX cameras, and some other brands like Tamron make great E and FE lenses. (Of course, with the Commlite adapter, you can use any Canon EF or EF-S compatible lens you might have, but native E or FE mount lenses will always perform better, in my opinion, no matter what an adapter-maker claims.)
The Commlite lens adapter is selling used for about $65 with a tripod mount, which this one does not include. A “renewed” NEX-5R sells on Amazon for $359 without flash or any lens. Add the flash and the adapter, and comparable value for my sale is at least $300. However, used prices can be all over the board, as we all know, so I'm asking less ....and will entertain offers.
Please note two cosmetic scuffs on the top of the camera (marked in blue in 1 photo) from the way in which its first owner packed his camera case. Otherwise, it is claimed to be (and appears to be) lightly used. I acquired these items in the process of buying some other equipment I intend to keep and use (one of which is a more heavily used A6000), and I have used this camera only to test it with Sony lenses and with the Commlite and a couple of Canon lenses.
Of course, a battery (Pro-Master) and the in-camera charger are included, as is a 1GB SD card (nothing special) and the original (unused) Sony camera strap. I’ve even found a brand new Manfrotto camera bag among my things, which fits the camera and lens well, if the buyer wants it.
