Moire pattern in astrophotography.

Moire pattern in astrophotography, is this a problem? Do I have to remove the Moire filter over the cameras sensor?

The AA (Moire) filter over the sensor is needed to remain.
Those cameras lacking the AA filter have a higher incidence of failure with the filter missing. That is why, for example Canon made the 5Ds with and without.
