As of course, here in NZ, it is Summer 28°C and quite energy sapping.
This is Lake Wakatipu at Queenstown, NZ on a cold wintery day. That couple are quite brave sitting out there. (No camera either!)

Similar temperature here in Texas 71F. Makes it hard to think Christmas when it's that warm but we don't seem to have much choice.
It's all relative. ☃️
At 28 deg C, Thai people wear parkas with hoods. And I think it is refreshingly cool for a change!
Happy New Year
Nice shot of two brave people. At 28C I'd still be in long pants and long sleeves and dreaming about summer
People as perspective to your beautiful shot.

Very nice shot. And it bolsters my desire to visit there (NZ) before I do any pail punting. By the way, were you brave to be out there, even though you did have a camera?
*I am used to living in Northland - the top end of the north island. Here it is very humid and quite damp. The cold can 'get into your bones', in Winter. A 1000 miles further south, the air is, yes, a hell of a a lot colder, but more importantly, so much drier. Thus you dress for the weather and don't feel the cold. Hope that makes sense...
One of the greatest places in all the earth. We loved our visit back oh so many years now. (it has been about 5) We loved the south island and Queenstown area. I would go back for a long visit.
