I purchased a used Nikon D4s from MPB. Had listed original packaging, camera, battery, charger for a good price. Arrived today with all listed, kinda. The charger for the D4s is the MH-26 the camera came with a MH-22, which is for the D-3 series and a few other older cameras. The MH-22 can not charge the EN-EL18a battery for the D4s. Sent an email to MPB and left phone message about the problem. One would think that they would catch something like this upon inspection of the camera. A used MH-26 is going for $349, new $369 at B&H. Will let you know what MPB does about this.

Yes you would think so. They possibly may be closed for the holidays. I would want an adjustment of $349 or return the outfit.
I have always found MPB to be a reliable and reputable organization with which to deal. I hope that they take care of your situation and confirm my belief in them.
Me also. I have bought quite a bit of gear from them in the last year and a half. Hope to find out tomorrow.
I have traded several times with the UK branch of MPB, and my experience is that they are one of the very best. I am sure that they will soon put right the wrongs - please let us know how you get on.
I bought a D500 in “like new” condition from mpb a few months ago. It came with an ENEL15 battery, not the enel15a that ships with the camera. The old battery doesn’t last as long. When I first contacted mpb about the problem, I was told that the battery sent to me was the one that mpb received with the camera. I responded that the person who checked the camera missed the switch. mpb was going to give me a credit to buy a new battery, but then”found” one and shipped it to me.
Has anyone sold equipment to MPB, and if so, what was your experience?

I also just received a D4 from them also and it came with a brand new third party digital charger that I’m very pleased with. They are an excellent company and I’m sure they will correct this issue

I offered three items (Panasonic M43 camera and lenses) to MPB (UK) Two items were accepted at their offered price for the description I gave. One lens was rejected, as they discovered a small amount of mould within. It was returned well packed at no cost. Although I could not see the mould, this served to fortify my respect for MPB.
I packed that lens with silica for a month, and later on sold it on ebay. The purchaser was pleased.
In all respects MPB acted honourably. They had arranged pick-up and delivery at no cost to me. Everything was carried out for my convenience. I have also purchased kit from them at very fair prices, which was exactly as described.
I recently bought a used lens from MPB, my first (but won't be the last) purchase from them. The lens was better than advertised, essentially mint in fact, and the entire purchasing process was excellent - speedy shipping, etc. And the price was the best I found on the internet, having searched several other sources. It's only one transaction but based on that I would recommend MPB.
I have had good purchases from MPB - but when viewing the article you are going to buy make sure you understand what you are buying, if not call and get answers. I'm sure you didn't know that the battery charger wasn't for the camera you purchased ---but anyway you may still cut a deal, if not, return the merchandise for a refund.
They finally sent an email, I am sure they were busy after the holiday. Said they would send me the correct one. Just wished they had been a little more diligent and found the wrong one with the camera when it was sent in to start with. So now I just wait and see what I get and, look at a camera that I can’t use for another week or so.

This is very un-mpb like. I'm sure they will make it right. I have had significant experience with them one time they did not include the back cap for a lens. They immediately sent one after receiving my email.

Thanks! I’ll go ahead and give them a shot!

It may be that there is no difference in the batteries. I ran into a similar situation with a battery for my FZ1000. When I contacted Panasonic about it I was told that the only difference was that the suffix denoted where the battery was initially intended to be shipped; the technical specifications of the battery was no different than the ones without the suffix. It turns out that some battery shipments were redirected due to demand.
