Both webs left me uninspired.

Well the Romney site at least shows a road map of not only what but how issues will be handled. Obama's site is nothing but a repeat of his lies as to the marvelous things they have accomplished over the past 3 1/2 years.
Summary. Romney's site is informative but not a dynamic read. Obama's is all theatrical hype and lies. Makes me puke.

While my reaction to both sites was less dramatic, I have to admit that I really did like the layout of issues in the Romney site. The Obama site administrator should take a lesson from the Romney site administrator and adopt a similar presentation format.
Maybe we should be having the 2 site administrators debate instead of the 2 candidates.

That sounds like one of the old Saturday Night Live routines.

My favorite was Jane Curtain and Dan Ackroyd......
"Jane, you ignorant slut..."
I'm relatively new to this site. On a photographic and informative level it is one of the best sites I've found. BUT, when it strays from what it does best, I find it to be most disappointing. The people who take the time to express politcal opinions are petty, biased, bigoted and often racist. You would rather fight over the things you disagree on than endeavor to find things that you have in common. If you made the effort, you would find that you are not that different. You want the same things for your families and your country. Instead of insulting each other, do something positive. Instead of searching for negatives, seek the goodness in your adversary. Instead of spreading hate and divisiveness, step back and re-evaluate your motives. Do you actually accomplish anything with the sophomoric dialogues that you share on this site. I assume that the majority of you are Christians but you seem to have long ago forgotten your Christian teachings. I think Ghandi had it right "I like your Christ. (but) your Christians are so unlike your Christ." Let's make the country a better place by starting here and now to no longer tolerate what this site has become.
Diogenes, you nailed it! Three cheers
OK Diogenes, if you don't like it in the Chit-Chat room why don't you take your lamp and look for truth elsewhere?

Don't you think he can figure that out for himself?

Maybe, although why would he complain in that case? Anyway, I was just giving him an invitation.

I personally feel that your reply was sadly misplaced, you have referred to people expressing political opinions as being first pretty, then you call them biased, bigoted, and often racist... you then go on in your post and chastise people for doing what you had just done??? (although we do appreciate being called pretty!) The original post gives links to two websites belonging to opposing parties IN COMPETITION for the office of president of the United States. I may have this wrong, but I thought that this type of competition has been designed to explore the differences of the candidates thoroughly, and decide which one most represents your views and cast you vote accordingly. It appears to me that something about comparing the two candidates side by side has left you disapointed by on or the other, and you have decided to lash out at everyone to maybe change the course of the conversation as to hide the facts which have left you feeling disapointed. Therefore I would like to direct everyones' attention back to the original post and invite all to view the websites, and comment as you wish. After all we still have that freedom here in the United States of America.
I thought I read "petty" not "pretty". Petty is not pretty, however, I think each person has a right to their opinion whether or not we agree with them.
