In the altitude (about 11 000') the snow is very dry: averaging 12:1 snow to water ratio. This winter we made a record 26:1 ratio considered to be a World record - perfect snow for winter sports.
The cabin could be 100 years old, maintained mainly by volunteers and remaning from some water managing forest project, (Suntouched).
