East Liverpool, Ohio is a run-down, depressed town and our church is located in a rather poor part of it. Every year a group of us goes caroling in the neighborhood to share Christmas with those living there.

That's really nice!

I've been thinking about Nugget lately and wondering how she's doing, Harry!

Welcome to the "Christmas Traditions" No Host Just Post..This is probably the busiest time of the year for alot of us..So drop in when you can for the next three day and share your "Christmas Traditions" with us..First off I'd like to wish one and all a Very Merry Christmas, and a Prosperous New Year..One of Our "Christmas Traditions" is Going out to find a Different Light Display to Photograph..The other Night we Went over to Murfreesboro to Photograph the Pike County Courthouse and Town Square..while there A block off the Square we Noticed another Display that out did the Lights on the Square..Below the Christmas Greeting you'll see what we Found..I'll save the other findings for tomorrow.

Here is one from me. We all have colds, hence the bad faces but it was the only day we had snow cover the back yard, therefore, I made everyone come out and lay down in the snow, not a lot of happy people. Luckily I have a drone, which is the perfect tool for this sort of shot. Yes there was a lot of work for me in Photoshop, but it was fun.

Clever, Lucian!

Think I posted some of our traditions earlier this week or month. These few days (just one more) are a bit hectic in our house.

I love you pictures. My grandparents always had Lutefisk on Christmas eve. I did not care for it.

Neither did I! The odor was enough to turn you off! My grandma would soak it in water overnight -the

whole house smelled of it by morning! YUCK!

My aunt use to bake an angle food cake and place a manger on top. The whole family stood around the cake and sang Happy Birthday to Jesus
I told this to my work mates and one young women ask why would you sing happy birthday. I was speechless and couldn't answer her. When she passed at 94 the tradition stopped.

Ohh,,what a shame that the tradition ended! I love that idea!!!
