Moon flowers and bees...
I went out early evening yesterday to photograph our moon flowers blooming, only to catch the bees gathering around them as well.
Really, really nice! 2&3 are my favorites
Great series. Photos are well done.

The moths that look like hummers use to come in just as the sun was setting to work the nectar from them. They are a pretty flower and huge as well.
Great shots.
I like #3
The subject is sharp and fills the frame with a pleasant composition, but the background is nice and soft. The side lighting is nice as it shows through the pedal, but the dark side still shows some detail.
Very nice.

Very nice shadow1284, #3 is fantastic
Thank you all very much. I used a 580 flash as well as a modeling light reflected off a silver umbrella to direct additional light. I also had to rig up a wind stop with a large piece of cardboard and a ladder.
I have never heard of a moon flower, pretty cool looking.

Those are moon flowers? I've never seen anything like those before. They are wonderful. I love the shape of them
