Which is (or in this case, would have been) more effective? Styrene or polypropylene?

A strip of duct tape, retake the picture, print the picture and ask only $10,000. That way you will not have wasted $00.59.

Perhaps its the all-too-apparent symbolism of the prison stripes the bananas wear? Or perhaps its the subliminal reference to that key line in Wm Shakespeare's 'Julius Caesar': "Et tu, Bananas"? Can we ever know? Especially now, after I went and et (these) two bananas?

And they were tasty, too.

The exact same thought occurred to me, too, after the fact. But I figured on charging $20,000 because there's two bananas, not a paltry one banana.

Then, in a moment of forgetfulness, I forgot the thought and ate both bananas.

Next time, though, I'm wondering if a strip of blue painter's tape would be as effective? Yes, yes; I recognize that painter's tape might not be as *universal* and/or *iconic* as duct tape is, but isn't it best that we strive for originality?

We no longer purchase bananas, Cany as I became tired of throwing them away and now substitute blueberries which are said to be more nutritious!... The earlier joking about what name to call me made me think of Arte Johnson which was part of the old Laugh-in Show that was on TV many years ago. The script went something like when a man introduced him as Mr. Johnson he came back with something like "You can me Ray, you can call me Raymond J. You can call me R. J., you can call me R. J. J., or you can even call me R. J. J. Jr., but you doesn't have to call me Johnson" He really had some hilarious skits on their program over the years and in googling his name I also found that he died July 3rd of this year at the age of 90. On a lighter note, I hope that you guys have a wonderful holiday season and take care.

I've heard that bananas have been so hybridized and domesticated that they're barely even bananas any more. But I like the slippery-peeled critters all the same. Laugh-In? Arte Johnson? Yup. Remember both well (long term memory is fine; short term memory is..... what was I saying???). Whenever possible, we'd watch Laugh-In on Sunday evenings on the TV machine our friendly and war-like US Gov't supplied us with in the dayroom of the barracks. Then they foolishly made me an NCO, and I got to move into NCO quarters where there wasn't a dayroom. Those were tough times, Cork-El!

Somebody say 'blueberries'? Mmmmmmm!

Seasonings & greetings right back atcha, Corky.

It was duck when it was invented during WWI - made with duck cloth. Duct was, I think, a brand name that has become generic.
