I see this phrase in a post probably 3 times a week. I don't look at every post but it definitely occurs frequently.

Dude! Pay attention! The title of this section is "General Chit-Chat (non-photography talk)"

Before you ever write this phrase, take a look to see what section it is posted in.

Alternatively, unsubscribe from this section. You will see fewer threads that don't have anything to do with photography.

Except....the topic may have been posted in main discussion and between the time the complainer complained and you saw the topic, it could have been moved by Admin. That happens a lot, including with Photo Analysis which Admin runs.

And....some people click an "upcoming topic" having no idea that it is already planted and not free-floating. One user complained about another user and myself complaining about a topic in main forum, not realizing all he had to do was look directly above the topic title to see the forum.
