A broken black walnut shell. I have a black walnut on my property. The tree is very old but I still get sum nuts in the fall.
This is a 12 exposure stack using focus bracketing on my PEN F and 60mm macro. In camera part takes only a couple of seconds.
I like the first one. When that old tree finally gives up it's last nut you will have a bunch of fantastic, beautiful lumber.
I really like both of these!
Well done. Good winter activity.
I really like the color photo best.
I have a collection of walnuts that squirrels chewed open; I call them squirrel art.
Yum! Love those walnuts...and love both images, Fetzler!
If you’d like some walnuts, I still have thousands lying around in my yard. That’s after cleaning up three Bobcat bucketsful.
Very, very nice. I enjoy the play of shadows and textures. Job well done.
