A leading Christian magazine founded by late evangelist Billy Graham -- father of key p**********l supporter Franklin Graham -- published an op-ed on Thursday calling for President Donald Trump to be removed from office and urging evangelicals not to support him.

"Whether Mr. Trump should be removed from office by the Senate or by popular v**e next e******n—that is a matter of prudential judgment," Christianity Today's editor in chief, Mark Galli, wrote in the op-ed. "That he should be removed, we believe, is not a matter of partisan loyalties but loyalty to the Creator of the Ten Commandments."
Galli continued, "We believe the impeachment hearings have made it absolutely clear, in a way the Mueller investigation did not, that President Trump has abused his authority for personal gain and betrayed his constitutional oath. The impeachment hearings have illuminated the president's moral deficiencies for all to see."

"None of the president's positives can balance the moral and political danger we face under a leader of such grossly immoral character," he added.

"To the many evangelicals who continue to support Mr. Trump in spite of his blackened moral record, we might say this: Remember who you are and whom you serve," Galli wrote. "Consider how your justification of Mr. Trump influences your witness to your Lord and Savior. Consider what an unbelieving world will say if you continue to brush off Mr. Trump's immoral words and behavior in the cause of political expediency."

Yes, indeed he is the anti to Christian Teachings. Trump is the "Fart-in-Chruch" *** that the Republicans ignore and will not admit to smelling.

What is the reason you didn’t link to the actual article?

Obviously you are, once again, pontificating on that which you gave no knowledge of.

If you had read it, you would know why I’m laughing at you right now.

Unsavory dealings and immoral acts by the President and those close to him have rendered this administration morally unable to lead.

Unfortunately, the words that we applied to Mr. Clinton 20 years ago apply almost perfectly to our current president. Whether Mr. Trump should be removed from office by the Senate or by popular v**e next e******n—that is a matter of prudential judgment. That he should be removed, we believe, is not a matter of partisan loyalties but loyalty to the Creator of the Ten Commandments.

To the many evangelicals who continue to support Mr. Trump in spite of his blackened moral record, we might say this: Remember who you are and whom you serve. Consider how your justification of Mr. Trump influences your witness to your Lord and Savior. Consider what an unbelieving world will say if you continue to brush off Mr. Trump’s immoral words and behavior in the cause of political expediency. If we don’t reverse course now, will anyone take anything we say about justice and righteousness with any seriousness for decades to come? Can we say with a straight face that a******n is a great evil that cannot be tolerated and, with the same straight face, say that the bent and broken character of our nation’s leader doesn’t really matter in the end?

We have reserved judgment on Mr. Trump for years now. Some have criticized us for our reserve. But when it comes to condemning the behavior of another, patient charity must come first. So we have done our best to give evangelical Trump supporters their due, to try to understand their point of view, to see the prudential nature of so many political decisions they have made regarding Mr. Trump. To use an old cliché, it’s time to call a spade a spade, to say that no matter how many hands we win in this political poker game, we are playing with a stacked deck of gross immorality and ethical incompetence. And just when we think it’s time to push all our chips to the center of the table, that’s when the whole game will come crashing down. It will crash down on the reputation of evangelical religion and on the world’s understanding of the gospel. And it will come crashing down on a nation of men and women whose welfare is also our concern.

CT said that it is "unambiguous" that Trump leverage Zelinsky to look into the Bidens. Well, I read the July phone call, the one in question, and I certainly don't see it. Explain it to me, because monetary aid is not even mentioned. Plans to meet are. Totally separate from Trump's concern about the forcing out of the prosecutor by the previous Ukrainian administration which Trump did ask Zelinsky to look into. No quid pro quo, however. Wh**ever the Democrats think is there, well, just isn't. Read it for yourself, attached below. This version of the July phone call matches one posted by CNN.

However CT may judge Trump personally, it can't hang him for this.

But... "A White House lawyer suggested the transcript of President Donald Trump’s July 25 call with the leader of Ukraine be moved to a highly secure server usually reserved for state secrets just moments after a national security adviser came to him with concerns about the discussion, The Washington Post reported Wednesday evening."

What we have actually seen and has been discussed is a cleaned-up version of the call. "Vindman also detailed what he said were a series of key omissions in the official reconstruction of Trump’s call with Zelensky."

Consider this... I would like the Tank destroyers rockets. Yes, but first do me a favor.
The favor was a condition to be met before the monies for the rockets would be released.

Removing the political linkage from the call the story below is paralleled to the Ukraine call... same "will give but first" elements. Go back in time to when you were young. The call can be likened to our childhood days:
Mom, I would like some apple pie. OK, Jimmy, but first take out the garbage and put away your toys. [then you can have pie but not before that]
We knew that there was a condition that had to be met before milk and pie would be served.

"During his Nov. 19 testimony, Vindman recalled that he sought to make some additions to the document, some of which were carried out and some of which were not. Vindman said he saw nothing nefarious in the fact that some of the proposed corrections were never made.

At one point, Republican committee counsel Steve Castor asked both Williams and Vindman for their thoughts about the accuracy of the document summarizing the call. Here’s the exchange:

Castor: "The call transcript as published on Sept. 25 is complete and accurate. Will both of you attest to that?"

Williams: "I didn’t take a word-for-word accounting. When I first saw the publicly released version, it looked substantively correct to me."

Vindman: "I certainly would describe it as substantively correct."

Castor: "I think in your testimony, your deposition, you said ‘very accurate?’"

Vindman: "Correct.""

I am glad that evangelicals, and especially evangelical women, have now been given permission to v**e against Trump. I do not understand why CT NOW notices that Trump is immoral and unethical. It didn't bother them that he c***ts on his many wives, sexually assaults women, lies constantly, locks children in cages, and mocks the disabled? This man is as immoral and unethical as they come, and has always been that way.
