...I posted some photos of my home town StHelens England a couple of weeks ago and one of the photos was of Burchalls pie shop which has been in Westfield street St Helens since 1921 ,but the business has been going for a total, of 175 years in St Helens at various other shops before ending in it's present shop and was asked by Rodeoman to send him a photo of a Pork pie.So i have and added a bit magic to make it more interesting I bought Three pork pies today, two for me and one for Mrs A and before eating mine i took a photo of one of them and i must say it was mouthwateringley delicious.I've also added the photo of the shop as well.

Jim, that looks like a place I'd frequent if I lived in St. Helens. Good work on the photos.

Nicely done. The pie looks good enough to eat right off the screen!

👍

Melton Mowbray is also a good source and excellent local variation on the pork pie theme.

And, available in the USA, carefully crafted with love (and perhaps, just a little lard?); especially for those whose simple tastes appreciate just the very finest things in life:

Thanks Angler, got to get back to the Lancashire area soon. Been spending way too much time on this side of the Pond. A Pork Pie and a Proper Pint are calling me.
