Nashville New Years Images

I have had the opportunity to photograph the downtown area in Nashville on a few occasions but never on New Year's Eve. I will spend several days in the downtown area next week and looking for some tips on the best location for capturing the fireworks that might include as much of the skyline and bridges as possible while staying out of harm's way.

I know New Year's gatherings can get pretty congested and difficult to set up a tripod. This will be my first attempt at fireworks. Also interested in suggestions for other locations during the days leading up to the festive night.

Thanks in advance

If you have the chance, visit Cheekwood, for a large display of Christmas lights. https://cheekwood.org/calendar/cheekwood-holiday-lights-event-nashville/

Use the pedestrian bridge that crosses the river south of Broadway and the Stadium. If they shoot from the river, go the the east, otherwise go to the west and get the stadium in. I have tried to go up the hill in East Nashville, but there are not a lot of spots that are safe and good viewing. Good Luck. I always say I am going again, but a warm bed and hot toddy win out.
