And then, there's this sticky thing called the U.S. Constitution -
Article 1, Section 10 (Powers of the Congress) - No state shall enter into any treaty, alliance, or confederation; grant letters of marque and reprisal; coin money; emit bills of credit; make anything but gold and silver coin a tender in payment of debts; pass any bill of attainder, ex post facto law, or law impairing the obligation of contracts, or grant any title of nobility.

They are similar. The anti-choice of lunatics at state level are always passing ludicrous legislation. Ohio just signed a law requiring an impossible medical procedure, the re-implantation of ectopic pregnancy. So the extremists are writing the laws. This gun legislation is no different than that...a pipe dream in the form of a law.
