Something different at the river.

I got to view something different for a change. This is the first time I have captured images of a coyote swimming and also retrieving salmon to eat along the river. They were taken from quite far away, 50 yards and farther, but better than nothing. Enjoy

Wonderful series for sure. I'm almost sure the fish was dead when the coyote found it. Good for a couple of meals though.

The fish was dead. The coyote was searching for the ones that were still under the water. The ones on the shore were already rotting. This one was off shore in about 4 inches of cold water. The major portion of the Fall run is over for us now, but all of the dead fish brings in an abundance of critters.

That's a really nice series. I never knew coyotes would go for fish!
