I recently renewed my subscription and reinstalled LRCCs latest version from Creative Cloud. Since I had used CC before and still had my old catalog and photos on my system everything came back fine.
The only problem I seem to be having is that LR says its "syncing 1 photo". The message doesn't go away and when I shutdown LR it not a normal shutdown. It says its syncing and gives a shutdown option which works.
Anybody have any ideas on this one?

Did you mean to install LR Classic to your desktop computer? Are you trying to sync images from your computer to cloud storage? Did you consider opening a chat with Adobe for help?
Yes, I wanted to install LRcc on my desktop. I'm not try to sync anything. LR is trying to sync because I have it turned on for my collections.
Right now I have turned off sync and I went into preferences and found it shows 1 photo pending sync. That is obviously the one that's causing my issue. Maybe I can find that photo and delete it from the cloud.
The Adobe chat is a virtual session. Can you actually chat with a person?
"Can you actually chat with a person?"
I've never tried. Adobe is a worldwide company. There is no telling who might answer the phone.
If you google for "adobe customer support phone number", numbers are displayed.
Good luck and please tell if it works!

Here is a link that may help. If not, a google search for “Lightroom cc stuck syncing” yields other options.
https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic/lr-classic-cc-stuck-syncing-images/td-p/10088623And to answer your question earlier, opening a “chat” with Adobe does put you in touch with a real person. You type questions/answers back and forth until there is a solution or until the Adobe tech runs out of ideas, at which time he/she will boot you up the chain to a higher level tech. They may ask to work remotely on your computer, but you must agree to that before they can. This works better for me than calling them, which has usually ended up with long waits and techs with such difficult accents that I can’t understand them.
Another option: sign up for the (free) website Lightroom Queen
https://www.lightroomqueen.com/ where you can ask questions and get help from many qualified folk including the queen herself, Victoria Bampton.
It is easy to get to your Lightroom photos on the web. Here’s where they are:
https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-cc/using/lightroom-web.htmlAn aside: you indicated you are using Lightroom CC, and that you’ve used it in the past. I’m assuming you are aware that what Adobe once called Lightroom CC is now Lightroom Classic. The “new” and current Lightroom CC is designed to work with a mobile platform or mobile-to-computer platform and your photos are stored in the cloud. If you want all your photos in the cloud and accessible on all your devices then CC is the version for you. If you aren’t interested in cloud or mobile, and want your photos only on your computer/drives, then Lightroom Classic is usually the better option. If you’re wanting a bit of both, you can have it, but you really have to study on how to make it work, which involves tinkering with the sync settings and monitoring your storage.

As opposed to a chatbot, I presume.
I've paused sync for now... thx for the input everyone..
