I have yet to get an answer to a very simple question that I have. It has been buried in a thread so not too many people have seen it.
This is a fill in the blank question so and shouldn't take too much to complete......if you have an answer that is.
And the question is:
After college, Barak Obama gained enough experience to run a country by _____________.
Think carefully, this is not a trick question. I have been getting answers like "He killed Osama ben Laden" or "GM is now producing cars".
 Those answers fail, because he did not do those after college and before he became president.

Writing a book.
After Harvard the first thing he did was write his autobiography.
Since we know it contains untruths, distortions, spins and deceptions, I think he learned the most important attributes that any successful politician needs to possess.
I think his surface charisma and easy, ingratiating speaking style, (teleprompter included here) which are probably his chief assets as a successful politician, which mostly is a God-given gift by the way, have given him all many people seem to believe one needs to possess to make a fine president.
So yes, according to the thinking (or should that be non-thinking) of many Americans, he possesses all the experience and qualifications one needs to run the country.
That's a moot question now. He's had 3.5 years experience as president, and one term as a senator. What's your point?

What is wrong with the question. Those who voted for him the first time saw that he was somehow qualified to run this country. I know he went to college and I know he was (for a very short time) a senator.
What did he do in between that garnered him the votes to become POTUS?
Come on......it can't be that hard of a question to answer.
After college, Barak Obama gained enough experience to run a country by learning to read from a teleprompter and how to manipulate the masses!

The point is that this question was asked from an historical perspective. It's like saying that, since western civilization exists, it's "moot" to question what effect ancient Greece had on its evolution.
And the GOP are different? ALL POLITICIANS are by their very nature self centred, egotistical, smooth talking SOBs. Are there any good ones? Maybe dead ones. But then who would run the country? And since only about 30% of Americans vote anyway, then 70% don't care who runs the country.
It's a rhetorical question because it is clear he has no experience.
It was proven by a lot of media people that he was not qualified to be a president of the united states.
Why don't you read them and let us know the answer. Go to Heritage.com and get some real answers.

I don't think he got the experience to run a country yet. At lest I haven't seen a lot of good things he has done.

And he spent half of his one term as senator running for president. I am a firm believer that any politician who wants to run for a different office, must first resign the one he/she holds and be replaced by a viable alternative to maintain the workload of representing the people of the area that elected them.
And a half term as senator does not give anyone the experience needed to run a country the size of the US. His lack of political experience is evident in his inability to get the cooperation needed from both sides to accomplish what is in the best interest of the country. Maybe, had he been more activiely involved in the legislative process he would have seen how the game is played. Reagan and Clinton were both noticeably capable of working the house and senate to get things accomplished.
But, of course, this argument willnever be settled because too many people are so deeply aligned their side of the aisle that they can't see their own party's faults or the others positive ideas.
God Bless us all, no matter which one of these guys wins.
