Here's two pics I took at Logan Pass at sunset. The first one was shot on the Hidden Lake trail boardwalk about a 1/2 mile from the visitor center. The second pic was shot close to the Hidden Lake overlook a few days after the first pic.
These are both great shots. What lens and lens opening did you use for the starburst effect? I need to get back there one of these days.
Nice, Matt! The first one is great.

Thanks jaymatt! It was really pretty watching that cloud bank spill over the Garden Wall.
Both are very nice. #1 is my favorite of the two.

Thanks photo man! I shot the picture with a nikon d5600. I used the nikon 10-24mm lens at 16mm f/25 at 1/50 sec. I went a little overboard on the apature. This lens makes great sunstars. f16 would have worked a little better I think. It would have given me a little faster shutter speed and sharpness.
The first picture was taken with the AF-P 18-55 lens. For a cheap plastic kit lens it does a pretty nice job. The photo was taken at 55mm f/16 at 1/60 sec. The VR was definitely doing it's job on this shot. I used iso 100 on both shots.
Thanks for the thumbs up Longshedow!
Great shots! Love watching the sunsets from the pass.
