Missed Dane's sharing old memories challenge pretty much. Just scanned this today for something else. That's me on the right and the year was 1949 (I was 5 1/2) and we lived in Menominee MI. Lived there 3 years at the most but I remember going to a department store to see Santa. (that is my younger sister on the left) Notice his moustache!

I love this shot! You obviously loved it to, judging by the
smile on your face, whereas your sister doesn't seem quite
as happy...and Santa...well, looks like he wanted to be
somewhere else...or perhaps he was thinking about everything
he had to get done before the big night...lol

Beautiful, colorful collection - are those birds lorikeets?

Glad you enjoyed, Sue, and they do kinda look like
lorikeets, but they were pretty small, so I'm not sure.

My fav is the second one with the moon peeking through the trees and the contrast of the green grass and the reddish sky!

First off Pat...these images are all fantastic and I know
someone is going to have a really hard choice.

Can you imagine the memories that crooked little house holds?
Beautiful work on the house, on the images and on all those memories,
including keeping them alive.

Thank you for all your comments, Tim
