Great shot. Download is terrific.
This one gets better the bigger itโs rendered. Thank you.
WoW! This is a great shot catching the (Starling?) just as it leaves the perch. In the DDL, where lots of images go to die, it is apparent that the sharpness of the central focal point, the eye, is still sharp as a tack. ๐

Thanks Jan. Its a female Red-winged Blackbird. I'm still working on improving my technique. I have a modification in mind...all I need is some co-operation from the subjects.
Excellent BIF! Like those claws.
Shots like this are so hard to get: being in the right place at the right time with the right gear and the right settings for an instantaneous event. Yes, we are โluckyโ to get these, but so much effort and prep goes into that luck. Congratulations on a great capture.

Top notch. I know nothing about flash photography, in fact I don't even own one. Perhaps some day you might want to give me (us) a lesson. Again, great image!

Perhaps I will but it might well never be read due to length.
Some suggestions for buying a flash for those so inclined. My brand of choice is Godox...all my other brands have since been retired and sold, and I have used some of the best camera brand and third party flashes, other the years.
The hand down best flash I have ever used is the V1s (s=Sony, n=Nikon, etc.). It is powerful, Lithium battery recycles so quickly, seems to last forever and is a round head. Light fall off is uniform and gradual, like no other. I found that the Better Beamer extender made for the SB800 works well on it.
It out performs the best camera top end flashes at a fraction of the costs.
