We seem to have one in this retirement facility building. The Amazon truck disgorges enough boxes twice a day to fill several valet carts several times each visit. One resident has taken it upon himself this Christmas season to start delivering the packages to our doors to help the three porters. Many of us go down to the concierge's desk when we are notified a delivery has been made too - keep expecting to have to "pick a number".

Last year, the regular driver rang the bell and when I answered, he offered to hand me the keys to his truck. He said he would be able to come back in about 3 hours if i wanted.

I feel for the drivers - a message popped up on my iPhone saying a delivery had been made. Looked out the window and the driver was sorting through a pile of boxes scattered all over the driveway. Going out she said she just knew mine was there somewhere. Finally had to admit it wasn't and would try to bring it the next day. She looked really frazzled!
