Very nice, Sylvia. I often use the wrong settings because I don't pay attention to what I've done before I shoot. You worked it out nicely, though.

Pleased you like them Ken and thank you very much for your comments. The light was pretty bad and I kept changing the exposure, didn’t realise what I had done until quite a few shots later!

First shot is 'fun' you say? Ok, if you say so, but I've gotta mildly disagree. It is not simply 'fun,' it is unique and it is WAY out of the ordinary. Kudos to you, Sylvia!

That’s very kind of you Cany thank you so much. Appreciate you looking in and your interesting comments.

Great shots Sylvia...by the look on its face in the second pic, I'd say there was no wi-fi...

Two really neat shots - I like how you can see the spikes that keep birds from perching on the light.

We were out looking for Osprey today, everything was sitting high on the poles, facing the wrong way and in poor light. I managed to mess up the exposure on these two who were facing the right way by accidentally moving the EV slider.
I thought the first shot was fun. Excuse the clarity on these shots. Full zoom and cropped.

Canon 650D, Tamron 18-400 lens.

Sylvia, understanding the light and distance problems you experienced the photos are still pretty good and DDLs show me that they are still sharp. Not much you can do when you are forced into this position and capturing the photos is more important to me then not having anything to remember the day with.

Greg

Thank you Greg very much for your always encouraging comments and thumbsup. So pleased you enjoyed them.
