Growing up at Sebring was great. I remember those days of old. Family still lives there and use to work there. Awesome set of old and new....very good looking. ..

Absolutely stunning photos! Masterful work. A joy to view.
Please accept, "Well done." from a car buff and retired U. S. Navy aircraft maintanance officer.
Cheers,

David, I just wanted to thank you for the spectacular work and your incredible eye for detail.
The Hudson Historics crew posed with our Visit Florida car, and I only just discovered your images.
I am out of town, and plan to contact you about some large color images as belated gifts to them.
The shot in the sunset with the light between the P190 and the DP is breathtaking.
I hope to meet you at the March event.
Wishing you a Happy New Year, and gratitude.

What a great series of photos DW! I love the older sport car races and this event is now on my bucket list.
I notice there was no shot of a (Jim Hall) Chaparral and assume there wasn't one there. As a child that was my fav race car. Thanks for your awesome share! BGS

This is an event that includes 12 hours of historic car racing. Sebring International Raceway is built on an old Army Air Force base that was used for training B-17 pilots from 1941-1946. So four years ago they decided to bring in vintage aircraft to the event. The aircraft do not fly during the event, but they taxi in before the racing starts and are parked where the starting grid lines up for the races. Some pretty cool photo ops. This event was last weekend. My buddy owns the yellow and blue BT-15.

All photos were taken with a Nikon D500 & D7200 paired with a Nikon 80-400 and Sigma 17-50.

Wow, great series! Road racing and airplanes are two of my favorite things. I have a soft spot for the T-34 (-8100), as I got 15 minutes of aerobatics in one with the Navy on a recruiting tour when I was in college. I'd love to get to Sebring one of these days.

Thanks! I'm a big WWII airplane fan. My buddy owns the yellow and blue BT-15 and invited me to this event. A lot of fun.
