It was cold, it was rainy and it was the last day in 2019 that anyone could visit Monet's home and gardens at Giverny. Not as spectacular for color and quantity of floral splendor as in the spring and summer, but enough there to give you a feel for what it can be when it's in full bloom.
We went there in April, some 30 years ago and it was a bit too soon in the spring for max bloom. But the experience was amazing, and the house. Thanks for sharing.
